Why it exists
An off-axis tamp wedges one side of the bed tighter than the other, and no amount of pressure fixes what the angle broke. A station holds the portafilter square so straight down is the only direction available.
Moulded body with a recessed cradle that takes the portafilter ears and a non-slip base that stays put on stone or steel. The cradle height puts the basket at a level where your forearm can stay vertical.
Set the portafilter in, level, press, lift. Fits standard two-ear handles. Wipe clean — no coffee oils will bond to the surface.
