Why it exists
If your shot sprays from one side of the basket, the fault is almost never the tamper. It is the clumps your grinder left behind — dense pockets that water routes around instead of through.
Fine stainless needles in a turned handle, at a depth that reaches the base of a normal dose without scraping the basket. The needles are hand-stirred, not spun: the point is to fluff the bed, not to compact it.
Use it in the dosing cup or straight in the basket — ten seconds of slow circular passes, then settle, then level, then tamp. Fits every basket diameter we carry. Rinse and air dry.
